We are seeking a compassionate and experienced School Social Worker to join a supportive team in New Orleans, LA for the 20252026 school year. This full-time, onsite position serves a K12 caseload, supporting students emotional, behavioral, and social well-being in collaboration with educators and families.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and provide direct support to students facing emotional or social challenges

Collaborate with school staff, families, and outside agencies to develop intervention plans

Facilitate group or individual counseling sessions

Assist with crisis intervention and conflict resolution
-
Support students' academic and social development through advocacy and referrals
-
Maintain accurate and confidential records
-
Contribute to IEP and 504 plan development as needed
Requirements:
-
Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited program
-
Active Louisiana Social Work License (LMSW or LCSW)

Experience working with school-aged children preferred

Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment
